Louisa Chase (she/her) is an artist and eco-somatic researcher-through-experience with a background in environmental work and counselling.  Her work draws strongly from disciplines outside of traditional arts practice and foregrounds the knowledge of experts-through-experience and the intelligences of the more-than-human.  This approach has been strongly shaped and honed by 18 years (2004 - 2022) of living immersed in the culture and landscape of Aotearoa New Zealand, and by her own lived experience.

Louisa currently lives amongst the mists of the rural North Lincolnshire Carrs, UK.

“I feel delighted to be supporting Broken Grey Wires to grow their ground-breaking work and ignite radical conversations.  As we travel downstream together I will draw on my experience of swimming with others in the wild cold headwaters of the Clutha river to find the current and the back-eddies, the places of rest and flow and to navigate the rapids”
